If you’re the type to escape into books, I’d like to recommend two series from Rachel Aaron. Heartstriker’s is about a dragon who’s tired of dragons being all draconic. The DFZ series is about a young Korean woman who leaves college with a “useless” degree and a mountain of debt.
Robert Jordan decided simple world building wasn’t enough, so he built thousands of years of worlds and the first actual glimpse we get of that is Moiraine’s “Weep for Manetheren” speech. It’s the first time we see everyday folks portrayed as heroes.
Surely we can spare a little of that love for everyone in our community and politely demand that Amazon do everything in its power to make this show accessible to everyone.
